This year the Sidewaysrules team hopes to take their performance to the next level by competing in a wide range of events at the local and national levels. Below is a detailed list outlining our plans for the 2009 drifting season. In addition to drifting, there are many other events that we will be participating in.
Local Drifting Events
• Drift Day, Drift Buffet, Just Drift- I plan on attending these amateur events every 2-3 weeks, schedule and budgets permitting.
National Drifting Events
• Formula D series- Please see attached Formula D .pdf file for dates and other pertinent information.
Local and National Rally
• New rules in the Rally America series have made it possible for us to compete in our Subaru in
the G5/Open 2WD class. We are planning on competing in a few West coast Rally America
events, as well as in the California Rally Series and the NASA RallySport series.
• Rally America events- Olympus Rally, April 25-26, Olympia, WA; Oregon Trail Rally,
May 15-17, Portland, OR.
• NASA/United States Rally Championship- Gorman Rally, August 14-15, Lebec, CA;
Prescott Rally, October 2-3, Prescott AZ.
• California Rally Series- TBA
• We are also hoping to run the Subaru at Pikes Peak alongside our Pikes Peak Evo VIII. The
Pikes Peak International Hillclimb is set for July 19th, 2009.
Other Events and Media Coverage
• We will also be attending car shows like SubieFest (date TBA) and other all Subaru events, as
well as import shows like Hot Import Nights, SEMA and other local events.

Over the past 20 years Leon Styles has made a rather large carbon foot print on this earth,
